Small GroupsSmall group counseling offers an opportunity for students to participate in activities and lessons designed to facilitate and encourage growth through peer engagement.
-Groups are determined based on data and needs but a few examples may include: Friendship Circle, Grief Counseling, GIRLS Group, Worry Warriors, Lunch Bunch. |
Individual SessionsIndividual counseling provides students with the opportunity to receive support and build the skills necessary to succeed in school and beyond. Through the use of the child centered approach, solution focused brief approaches, and non-directive play, children will begin to develop a greater understanding of self and coping mechanisms. Individual counseling is short-term based. If a student requires long-term services, a parent/guardian may receive referral resources.
